Captain Patrice Bergeron

The Current Captain

The current captain is Canadian hockey player Patrice Bergeron. The captaincy
was passed to Bergeron in the 2020-2021 season from former captain Zdeno
Chara. A player respected around the league universally for his conduct on and
off the ice, Bergeron is leading the current Boston Bruins team on a record-breaking
run this season.

Where It Started

The Boston Bruins' current stadium is TD Garden located in downtown Boston,
Massachusetts. However “The Garden” as it is affectionately known as was not the
first stadium to house the Bruins. The original home of the Boston Bruins was
aptly named The Boston Arena. While the Bruins may have changed homes
over the years they have always remained in the Boston area.

The Power of Success

The Boston Bruins have had incredibly long periods of success culminating in an abundance of trophies throughout the years. The Boston Bruins franchise has also been lucky enough to have some of the greatest hockey players in the world wear the Bruins jersey. The current iteration of this Bruins team has active players on the franchise record lists going to show the value of determination and drive that form a foundation of the Bruins organization.

The Greatest of Players

The Boston Bruins have 57 inductees into the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Bruins rank within the upper echelons with the amount of players that have donned a Bruins jersey and gone to prove themselves as one of the greats in the eyes of the hockey world. Some Bruins players not only hold franchise records but also hold places within National Hockey League records as well further showcasing the dominance that some players had.
